Joanna has built a diverse and well-rounded career spanning retail leasing, property management and in-house retail roles across the UK and New Zealand. She has held senior management positions with Argosy Property, Wellington International Airport, Foodstuffs and Westfield, giving her deep insight into asset performance, retailer relationships and large-format retail environments.
Joanna began her retail career in the UK with Marks & Spencer before relocating to New Zealand in 2001. Since then, she has worked in-house for several iconic New Zealand retail brands as well as within the asset management sector, developing strong expertise in retail operations, property strategy and stakeholder alignment.
Since joining Retail Solutions in 2019 , Joanna focuses on delivering practical, commercially grounded solutions for both retailers and property owners. Her key areas of strength include large-format retail and high-performing retail formats, supported by long-standing connections with both landlords and retailers across the market.
Joanna holds a Master’s Degree in Management Studies and Psychology from University of Glasgow, complementing her strategic and people-focused approach to property and retail.
